Our mission is to raise money for local children's charities and to provide a venue for friends from away to have an opportunity to re-acquaint themselves with old friends and forge new relationships. It also allows us that chance to reminisce about stories and take a reprieve from our otherwise busy lives.

What it's About

The Holiday on the Harbour Charity Ball is a private event organized primarily by a committee of approximately 15 volunteers. Tickets to the events are sold through committee members to friends and acquaintances. The quasi-private nature of the event provides attendees with an opportunity to reconnect with friends and to meet like-minded individuals. The event always happens between Christmas & New Years, with the date floating between the 27th & 29th depending on what day Christmas falls on.

Charity

In the 14 years of the event, we have given over $450,000 to local charities. Since our second year, the main beneficiary of the event has been Kidsport. We have given them over $135,000 in the past ten years. As the event has grown, we have added annual recipients:
